Some Recent Thoughts on Romans 1:18-32 and the Elections

After paying attention to the news for quite a while now, globally and
with elections coming up and I began to notice something rather obvious.

There is no way to unite the nation.  There is a great divide between
the godless and the godly and always has been. This is where our nation
is today. The details found in Romans 1 make this clear. Once it seemed
to be that it was communism against capitalism but the scriptures here
show us something different. We can see this because it is not about
debate over what good can be done better anymore. It is about how
depraved our nation can become before it destroys itself against those
who want to live peacefully and respect the persons and property of
others. It is the greedy who claim to be generous against those who
work hard to provide for the good of themselves and others.

No matter how we look at it there are no good choices for president.
However, when the evidence weighs strongly for the Democrat contender
and his other party mates matching the desires of the godless, then it
is time for godly people to reject him and them. I say that in sorrow
knowing that there used to be a time when there were better, more
capable men with a higher form of morality presented to the nation from
that party. One can only hope that our republic will survive the test
it is now undergoing (and I’m not talking about a financial crisis) but
instead a morality crisis that threatens our foundations. Fannie Mae
and Freddie Mac are only symptoms of a larger problem involving the
emerging system of indoctrination of godless principles to each and
every one of us. Is it not clear that someone did not fear God for
their deeds done to bring down these institutions that originally
brought them great profit.  The men in our government involved in this
problem predominantly in that party put greed before country,
dishonesty before the security of the nation. It is time to do what
American do when our representatives dishonor themselves and their
    country… vote them out.

Yet there is something to be learned about the candidates themselves and the impression that they present to us that say something important about our nation.

No. Obama’s not our man but he represents a portion of our nation that
has lost its moral compass and has exchanged it for more degrading
passions and dangerous notions. Those who would sell the soul of our
nation to reach for an empty prize of socialism and communism are
working themselves into full control and overthrow of the government.
We only need to examine recent history to understand that such things
lead to much more oppressive human conditions than we have been
accustomed to in the past.  It is truly a pity that so many of these
who are idealistically hoping for the godless “ring of power” will be
“used” and then find themselves the first to be “thrown under the bus”
by their own comrades. There is no honor among thieves and they will
    find out soon enough.

Biden represents a loud mouthed fool who talks more than he ought and represents a
side of our nation that we make coarse jokes about…  used car salesmen
and dishonest lawyers. He shows us a side of our nation that is all
about ripping people off and those who deal dishonestly when honesty
would have paid them better. An icon of “smoke filled rooms” and
speakeasys, Biden represents yet another of the godless crowd.

McCain, is the better choice and is much more experienced but reveals
the weak and tired morality that godly America has become under the
constant attack of the godless. He represents our tired churches and
organizations dedicated to doing good who have lost their momentum and
direction and cannot decide just exactly what is really right anymore.
However, if they ever found out what was right again, they would do it.

Sarah Palin has inspired many simply because she has reminded us of our
greatness and our past commitment to God, better ideals and morals, and
clean honest living. She represents the every day man and woman. The godless have already incessantly pounded on
her character and her husband’s in order to do what Romans 1 says
godless people do to get what they want. She is like many of us in the
United States who honor God and try our best to do what is good for all
and work hard while we’re doing it. Would we expect any different
things for ourselves than she has already endured from those who are
    godless? I would think not.

Given that President Bush has endured the most humiliation from the godless for the fewest offenses and these were often trumped up, he represents the godly people of this country who have taken it on the chin from the godless for years and still endure. He is like the student who believes in God and is being humiliated because of his faith before the class by his godless professor yet walks out with honor. He has taken abuse from every quarter and has held his chin up high and I've never heard him whine. Folks say they don't like him but I see him as a real man who can gut it up and do what needs to be done and dismisses all the do-nothing whiners.

Beyond the presidential candidates and our current president, there are others... maybe we can do those later...

Rather than make this November a referendum on Obama, consider a wider
purpose. Vote for a referendum on the godless power structure that is
using him to weaken our country and destroy our lives and livelihood. Do not leave out Congress nor the Senate.

Begin praying now that men of honor who trust in God, no matter what
party they are from, will be elected to the seats in our government.
Pray that deceit will not win and that the godless will be given the
    “bum’s rush”.

This year has been an eye-opener. It isn’t about Republican and
Democrat. Its all about whether we can stand before God and have Him
say of our nation…”You have done well.”

    Blessings, Mr.Vee
